Guests at EPCOT’s “Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros” found out that it may have been a little too “Gran” for José and he decided to lay down for the animatronic finale.
Normally, the attraction inside the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase ends with all three birds, Donald Duck, José Carioca, and Panchito, singing their “theme song.”

My favorite part is the person in the video saying “Pick him up!”
Yep. Hop out of the boat and pick him up!
This comes after the issue with the John animatronic in the Carousel of Progress. Not long after the Magic Kingdom reopened John was headbanging.
Look, these animatronics were shutdown for quite awhile. EPCOT just reopened on the 15th, so this kind of think can happen. Jose just took down to mean literally…down.
