April Fool’s Joke Post Makes Fans Wonder If Pirates of the Caribbean Would Be Better As A Lazy River Attraction

It’s April Fool’s Day today, and the internet is full of joke posts trying to catch people off guard.  One such post was on Facebook. In the post, it shows a man sitting in an inner tube floating through Pirates of the Caribbean, lazy river style.

While people knew it was a joke, it raised a good question. Would Pirates of the Caribbean be a great lazy river attraction?

I have never thought about it before, but you know what, it would make a fun lazy river attraction. If there wasn’t a dangerous track under the water, and if the water was safe to float in (which I don’t think I would do after the stories of guests peeing in it).

Disneyland’s version as a lazy river would be epic!

It’s obviously a joke for the holiday (the redhead is back too), but people in the comments did admit a lazy river fits perfectly in this attraction.

If only! What a fantastic idea! Pirates lazy river with Caribbean drinks” – Gina M. N.

This would be a better lazy river than a boat ride! I’m all for it!” – Cindy D.

That would be pretty cool, especially going down the drop in the dark lol” – Jerry M.

I would ride this thing for hours with a margarita if it was a lazy river.” – Sara B.

Wouldn’t that be fun?  New VIP offer!” – Kris K. B.

But seriously they should turn it into a lazy river at night for adults” – Kristen A. A.

Of course, it would be impossible, and the logistics would never work inside a regular Disney theme park, but the idea is fun!  Now that’s an armchair Disney Imagineering win.

If only.

What do you think? Would you want to ride through Pirates of the Caribbean, lazy river style? Comment and let us know!
