Rumor Indicates When Star Wars Galactic Racer Will Release on Steam

Last year, it was announced that “Star Wars: Galactic Racer” would be coming soon, but now a new rumor seems to indicate when.

Wario64 on X has shared that Steam has reportedly posted a release date of October 6, 2026, for the “Star Wars Galactic Racer Deluxe Edition”.

What is “Star Wars: Galactic Racer?

It will be a new racing title from Fuse Games, offering both single-player and online PvP modes.

Players will play using hover-based “Star Wars” vehicles like landspeeders, podracers, and speeder bikes. There is also a new “skim speeder” class.
Using these vehicles, racers can play on known “Star Wars” planets like Tatooine, Hoth, Endor, along with new worlds. One specific world mentioned is described as the “toxic, industrial world of Sentinel One.”

The game will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Of course, the October 6 release date is rumored. From what I can see, Steam now just has a release date of 2026 listed.

Some have pointed out that October 6, 2026, would be a wise choice because it could beat the holiday release games like Grand Theft Auto 6, which wouldn’t release until November.
