Tombstone made a candy corn pizza kit adding horror to the Halloween season

Tombstone is selling candy corn pizza kits online for $1.31 cents each, in three timed drops on Oct. 2, Oct. 9 and Oct. 23. You need a password to buy one, and you have to put the candy corn on yourself.

The pitch

“Conjured in the spookiest corners of the internet, this Halloween season TOMBSTONE® proudly presents The Pizza Nobody Asked For™. And frankly, we regret absolutely nothing.

Introducing the limited-edition TOMBSTONE® Candy Corn Pizza, an unexpected flavor mashup from The Official Pizza of Halloween®. Candy corn. On pizza. Hear us out… it’s weirdly good.

This sweet-and-savory creation combines the zesty flavor of TOMBSTONE® Pepperoni Pizza with one of Halloween’s most iconic (and debated) treats. Add a few pieces of candy corn or cover the whole pie. Your call… we’re not here to judge.

Love it or hate it, this unexpected Halloween mashup might just make you reconsider… What Do You Want on Your Tombstone?™.

Trick? Treat? Terrible idea? You decide.”

The drop schedule

Three chances, all at the same time:

  • Friday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Eastern
  • Friday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. Eastern
  • Friday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. Eastern

They’re only sold at tombstone.com/candycornpizza, and nowhere else. These are not going in the frozen aisle.

You need a password.

The drops require a password to complete a purchase. Tombstone is expected to share hints through its social media accounts ahead of each drop.

So showing up at 2 p.m. with a credit card isn’t enough. You need to have been paying attention beforehand.

$1.31 cents is the joke

31 cents stands for 10/31. Halloween.

The whole point is that Tombstone wants fans there at the right minute with the right password, and spending time to get it.

You make it yourself

Tombstone did not make a pizza with candy corn baked into it. The kit includes a regular frozen Tombstone pizza and three separate packets of candy corn.

You don’t have to put the candy corn on the pizza, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Technically, the company never made a candy corn pizza at all.

Two flavors to choose from

The kits come in two varieties:

  • Candy Corn Pizza Pepperoni
  • Candy Corn Pizza 5 Cheese

Both include the same three packets of candy corn.

If you miss out, you can buy a Tombstone frozen pizza and some candy corn, but it would be a lot more expensive.

Tombstone calls itself the Official Pizza of Halloween

The brand has leaned into the holiday for a while, which makes more sense than it first appears.

The Tombstone name has a cemetery connection built into its origin, so Halloween is the one season where a frozen pizza company gets to act like a horror brand.

Halloween food has gotten strange this year

Candy corn pizza is not even the oddest thing on the shelf right now.

Brach’s is selling a candy corn perfume for $22. Hidden Valley released a jet-black Spooky Ranch dressing in a glow-in-the-dark bottle. Cup Noodles made a blood-red vampire ramen and commissioned an actual casket to promote it.

The through-line across all of them is that they photograph well. Halloween food in 2026 is competing on how it looks in a post, and a pizza with candy corn on it is going to get looked at.

What to do Friday

Follow Tombstone’s social accounts before Friday so you catch the password hint. Be at the site by 2 p.m. Eastern. Pick a flavor.

Tombstone hasn’t said how many kits exist per drop, and at $1.31 cents they will not last.

If you miss it, there are two more chances. The last one is Oct. 23, which still leaves eight days to decide whether you’re actually going to do it.
