Disney has finally figured out that people wanted the original trilogy Star Wars instead of Batuu. First, they gave us Luke Skywalker. Yesterday, they announced Han Solo with Chewbacca. Today, we have an announcement for Princess Leia.

Leia will be available at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge on April 29.
Disney had a guaranteed win with a “Star Wars” land, but then ruined it with the Sequel Trilogy and a “planet” no one knew.
I think fans will come out for this, but a lot of long-time fans have checked out of “Star Wars” after the sequel trilogy and behavior towards Luke Skywalker and fans.
Here’s what people are saying on X.com.
“Hmmm. Maybe should have incorporated the legacy characters and places from the beginning.” – EVLDED
“I just got so emotional thinking of meeting her. If only she was at WDW! Leia is one of my absolute favorites as well as Padme” – Danibug727
“Disneyland finally cooking more than WDW“- Jeremy
“LEIAAAAA I NEED TO MEET HER OMG” – Jared
“LEIA IS HOME“- Mika
“Should have been there at the start”– Nightwing0695
Now bring this all to Walt Disney World (and try to find actors that more closely resemble them.)
