April 16, 2027 Magic Kingdom Ticket Will Be $219! New Record High

Disney is again driving up prices to ridiculous levels. The ticket price from April 16, 2027 (one year from today) is going to hit $219 per guest/ per day.  This doesn’t include tax. It doesn’t include Lightning Lane. This is just to get inside. Meaning a family of four with kids over nine years old, could pay over $900(after tax) for just one day at Walt Disney World.

This price is $25 higher than the previous highest price for the Magic Kingdom.

A lot of days from December 2026 through October 2027 have prices over $200 for the Magic Kingdom. We haven’t gotten the prices for November-December 2027 yet. I have a feeling those prices will go even higher.

WDWMagic posted these increases between today and April 16, 2027.

Magic Kingdom: 2026 $194 – 2027 $219 +$25
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 2026 $189 / 2027 $204 +$15
EPCOT:  2026 $179 / 2027 $199 +$20
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 2026 $174 /  2027 $184 +$10
Park Hopper: 2026 $259 / 2027 $287 +$28
Park Hopper Plus: 2026 $285.50 / 2027 $310.50 +$25

This is the price to get into the park. It doesn’t count food, Lighting Lanes, souvenirs, etc.

Frankly, it’s getting out of hand!

Disney Parks fans who want to save money need to plan their trips around lower-priced dates.

Ticket prices aren’t the only price increases

Tickets aren’t the only thing that Disney raises prices on. There have been price hikes on the Lighting Lane, especially during busy times. Food and souvenirs have also increased in price and keep increasing.

Many speculate that since Disney is losing the number of guests due to rising costs, they need to charge existing guests more to make up for it.

The dream of going to Disney is becoming further out of reach for many who can’t justify over $3k in park tickets for a few days, not including travel, hotel, food, merchandise, and Lightning Lane passes.

As they add new attractions, the prices will once again go up.
