CommuniCore Hall, CommuniCore Plaza, and Mickey & Friends Open At EPCOT

June 10th is the big day! Finally, we will get to see the new CommuniCore Hall, CommuniCore Plaza, and Mickey & Friends meet and greet open! Here’s what you can expect from the new areas!

CommuniCore Plaza

CommuniCore Plaza will be home for two new entertainment / performance venues.

Communicore Plaza Stage will be where you can catch the new Encanto stage show, “¡Celebración Encanto!” This will be a limited-time sing-along event featuring songs from Encanto. At night there will be a “Latin groove band” playing in the same area.

Another theater will be an open-air entertainment area, but it isn’t finished.

Next to the CommuniCore Plaza Stage is a new quick-service area called “Festival Favorites”

Here, you can try favorite festival items from all four of EPCOT’s festivals, as well as some Encanto-themed items.

Cheese-stuffed Arepa with cilantro-lime crema and cotija cheese.

Coconut Tres Leches– vanilla cake soaked with oat, almond, and coconut milk topped with toasted coconut.

Mickey & Friends Meet and Greet

A new meet and greet area will be open so you can interact with your favorite Disney friends.

CommuniCore Hall

This area will be a seasonal area that will change with the various festivals and events at EPCOT. Guests can expect the are to “highlight art, live music, food, and more.”

CommuniCore Hall also hosts a show kitchen where guests can watch as dishes or drinks are made. Sometimes there may be some special guests.

All of this opens tomorrow, June 10, 2024.
