Beak and Barrel Reservations Have Been Rescheduled

If you tried to get Beak and Barrel reservations yesterday, you were met with disaster as the system crashed due to demand. The good news is that Disney will reopen the reservations next week.

What happened?

Disney’s website crapped the bed. What I assume is that the demand overwhelmed the system and crashed it. When it came back up, the reservation option for Beak and Barrel was no longer there.

What is the Beak and Barrel?

The Beak and Barrel is a new Disney tavern themed to Pirates of the Caribbean, opening in Adventureland at Walt Disney World.

There are two sections at this tavern.

The first section is themed to the Spanish Pirates Mess Hall with long tables shared between guests (Think Biergarten at EPCOT).

A private table area will also be available in the Captain’s Quarters section of the tavern as well.

Here you can get drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, along with some snacks.

It is set to open on August 29, so it’s understandable why demand is through the roof.

When will reservations open?

According to the Beak and Barrel website they will open next week.

“Arrgh! Too many pirates tried to pillage at The Beak and Barrel. Thank you for yer patience. Come back for the treasure ye seek when reservations set sail the week of August 18, 2025.”

Not sure exactly what time that is, but it’s now the week of Monday, August 18.

Hopefully, the website will be ready this time. It’s not a very big location, so spots are limited.
