Disneyland Paris has opened its new World of Frozen, and along with it was the debut of the new roaming Olaf animatronic. Like all advanced animatronics, they can malfunction. This is exactly what happened.
Olaf is seen engaging, moving, and talking, then he suddenly freezes, falls over, and his nose pops right off. There are kids there too.
The crowd is gasping, and the Cast Member is trying to make light of it as they remove the small robot from the area.

Unfortunately, this is what can happen when you use highly advanced technology. The attractions break all the time, so it stands to reason this little robot would too.
Now, it’s always caught on camera.

This type of stuff is bound to happen when you are using AI-trained, highly technical, animatronics. Honestly, for Olaf, this was the best-case scenario for it breaking down, as people genuinely feel it’s in character for the snowman.
