Our friends at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs created a six-pack of Halloween Donuts for guests. These will only be around through Halloween.
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew offers many seasonal limited-time donuts. Many of these creations have impressed us. Of course, some of them have been disappointing. Still, that describes the nature of limited-time menu items.
Everglazed announced these Halloween donuts on its social media. In this social media post, Everglazed only informed guests that a six-pack of Halloween Donuts was coming. They did not indicate the flavors by name or provide any actual description.
However, based on reviewing our fair share of doughnuts at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, we recognized some of the donuts in the social media post. For example, the Haunted Donut came out in conjunction with the “Haunted Mansion” movie released in theatres. We reviewed that donut back when that occurred.
In the social media post, we also recognized a Halloween donut from last year. However, it looks like Everglazed added green frosting to the previous year’s version, featuring a marshmallow ghost or other shapes on top. The standard tasty buttercream frosting comes with that donut.
Several other Halloween donuts look like modifications of previous everyday menu donuts or an update to a limited-edition donut. Either way, we found ourselves drawn to learn more about the six-pack of Halloween donuts.
First Day of Halloween Donut Disappointment
We showed up at Everglazed on the first morning that these donuts were sold. However, some of the donuts were not available that morning. However, we did get the Frightful Friends donut.
Frightful Friends Donut from Everglazed Donuts – $6.50
This donut featured some adorable spooky character sugar pieces on top. The donut consists of a quality Everglazed donut with buttercream frosting on top. The glazed donut also receives an additional orange frosting to make it look more like Halloween. This donut shows off what guests should expect from an Everglazed donut. We would prefer that the sugar pieces taste better, but toppings on donuts can be challenging.
Other Everglazed Donuts We Ordered
Guests can order a few other varieties of these Halloween donuts, like the Haunted Donut and a Nutella Spider Web version of the Boston Cream. Unfortunately, all six of the Halloween donuts were not available for us.
1989 Everglazed Version Donut – $6.50
We know that Everglazed loves Taylor Swift. In honor of the “1989” version released recently, Everglazed created a one-day-only revival of their Taylor Swift donut. One member of our group enjoys Taylor Swift’s music. So, we had to order this one also. These types of donuts show that you should always check in at Everglazed to see what is new.
As you can tell, we enjoy visiting Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. However, we do not recommend that guests eat more than one at a time. Maybe you should be careful eating a whole one based on the larger size of these donuts and the massive sugar content. As always, eat like you mean it.
