Disney just released two new teasers for the upcoming “Star Wars” film “The Mandalorian and Grogu” coming to theaters on May 22.
So far, the box office estimates have not been great for the film’s opening, but this new teaser channels some Hoth energy and brings in the famous AT-AT walkers for some nostalgia.
Heck, nostalgia seems to be the entire point of both trailers.
Take a look!
The first teaser is a clip from the upcoming film.
Experience the action on the big screen.

The descent down the hill feels a bit like a video game cut scene, but it’s nice seeing the walkers again.
The second “Generations” teaser goes all in on nostalgia, tying it into the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy.
They use the three trilogies and “Rogue One” for the first half, and then just show stuff we’ve already seen for the rest of the teaser spot.
Throughout the trailer, they post the words ” On May the Fourth. We Celebrate Star Wars Fans. Across Generations.”
Disney is really trying to pull out all the stops to try and boost this film. I don’t know if it will be enough.
While it will likely break even and may make some money, it’s not going to do the numbers that previous films did.
“The Mandalorian and Grogu” will release in theaters on May 22, 2026.
