Filming started a couple of months ago on the next DC Superman film, “Man of Tomorrow”. Someone nearby may have caught an important fight scene on between Superman and Lex Luthor on camera.
In the scene, it looks like Lex and his Warsuit are getting a pummeling by the “Man of Steel” as extras look on.

Nobbe captured the filming while staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown hotel. He described what he saw.
“I usually stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown next to the Fox Theater, as it is right across the street from Norfolk Southern‘s offices, the reason for my visits. Motion picture filming is quite common in Atlanta, and the NS building has been featured in a number of movies, including several of the Marvel Universe movies. But last night was first time I saw actual filming take place, all from the comfort of my hotel room.
All signage referred to project as “Exodus”. Google tells me that is the working title for Superman, Man of Tomorrow. Premise is Superman and arch nemesis Lex Luthor have to team up to defeat the superintelligent alien android Brainiac.
Fox Theater, currently renamed Metropolis Theater, currently has a large hole in it that I assume Brainiac was thrown through by Superman who then comes through hole into street to administer the shown beat down. That might only be a minute of the movie but that was an all night project – they were still going strong at 2am when I went to bed. This is just one of probably 10-12 cuts. They would do it from different angles, bring different cars and people in for background, do different lighting. Pretty cool to see what all goes into this behind the scenes.”
How cool for him to get to see that!
“Man of Tomorrow” won’t be out until July 2027.
