Stitchmas! dance party coming to Disney World’s Christmas party

Lilo and Stitch are taking over Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starting Nov. 8. It’s the spot that hosted Disney Jr. Jingle Jam last year, and the same restaurant selling the new Stitch Christmas tree sipper.

Stitch already crashed Disney World’s Halloween party. Now he’s coming for Christmas.

A new holiday dance party called Stitchmas! debuts at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on Sunday, Nov. 8. It runs on select party nights through Dec. 22 inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland, BlogMickey reported. Disney World has added a “Stitchmas! at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” page to its website.

Disney’s pitch: “Celebrate Stitchmas! at an out-of-this-world holiday party.” Lilo and Stitch host. Guests dance, sing and play along as the pair look back on holidays on the island with some of their “closest friends.”

Disney’s description closes with, “Make merry memories together as you rock around the tinsel tree!” No extra fee. A party ticket gets you in, and it’s open to all ages.

Here’s a look at Christmas at Magic Kingdom this year:

Who will be at the Stitchmas! dance party?

Lilo and Stitch for sure. Beyond that, Disney is keeping quiet about which “closest friends” will show up.

BlogMickey’s guess is Angel, Stitch’s pink girlfriend, since she joined him at this year’s Halloween party. That’s a guess, not a confirmation. We’ll know Nov. 8.

What happened to Disney Jr. Jingle Jam?

Stitchmas! takes over the room Jingle Jam used last year. In 2025, Disney Jr. Jingle Jam ran in Cosmic Ray’s from 7 p.m. to midnight, with guests dancing alongside Disney Jr. characters, according to BlogMickey’s showtimes guide.

Jingle Jam no longer appears on the 2026 party listing. Disney World’s party page doesn’t mention it either.

Club Tinsel, the party’s other dance floor, is sticking around at Rockettower Plaza Stage. It used to live in Cosmic Ray’s before a venue shuffle moved it to the stage in 2025.

What time is Stitchmas! at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Disney hasn’t posted times yet. The My Disney Experience app didn’t list showtimes as of Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Jingle Jam ran for the entire party last year. Stitchmas! could do the same, but nobody’s confirmed it. Check the app on party day.

Pro tip: Cosmic Ray’s starts selling the new Stitch Christmas Tree Sipper on Nov. 6, so you can dance with Stitch while holding a cup shaped like Stitch. Very on brand.

How much are Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets?

Tickets run $189 to $229 plus tax, depending on the night, according to Disney World’s site. Kids 3 to 9 save $10 a ticket.

The party runs 7 p.m. to midnight on select nights from Nov. 8 to Dec. 22. Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m.

Don’t wait long. As of BlogMickey’s latest check, 16 of 25 party nights had sold out.

What else is at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2026?

Stitchmas! joins a lineup that’s mostly returning favorites, per Disney World’s party page:

  • Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, with a visit from Santa

  • Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

  • Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration at Cinderella Castle

  • Frozen Holiday Surprise, where Elsa, Anna and Olaf turn the castle icy

  • Holiday versions of Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Jingle Cruise and more

  • Free cookies and holiday drinks

Party-only souvenirs launch Nov. 8, too, including a Holiday Train popcorn bucket and a Minnie wreath straw clip at Casey’s Corner.

Is Stitch at the Halloween party too?

He sure is. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party added A Masquerade with Stitch in 2026 at Rockettower Plaza Stage, BlogMickey reported in April. Stitch digs through Lilo’s costume trunk, and each accessory changes the theme, with Lilo and Angel along for the ride.

That makes two new Stitch dance parties at Magic Kingdom’s after-hours events in one year.

And runDisney has a virtual 12Ks of Stitchmas challenge this season, with four Stitch medals, WDWNT reported in October.

At this point, Stitch should probably get his own party.
