SNL Opening Has Biden Blaming Spider-Man For The Spread of COVID

Since it’s debut ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has won the day with record breaking box office numbers, and it hasn’t even released in China. Now Saturday Night Live has their version of President Biden, James Austin Johnson, taking a press conference to tell people to “stop seeing Spider-man” to halt the spread of Omicron.

You can watch the opening below:

The start of the skit is “Biden” telling people that the need to stop seeing the film and then it turns to the “press” asking if he is really blaming the film for the spread. Even their serious questions are met with blaming it on Spider-Man.

Then “Biden” tell the press that after consulting with Fauci and Doctor Strange he has learned that we are in a multiverse and there are three versions of him and one is the best president ever.

Later Spider-Man and the other Biden (Pete Davidson) come through and tell the press and President Biden, that he is from the real timeline and we were one started as a joke in 2016.

One of the best lines is when a “reporter” asks Biden if he believed we were living in a multiverse and he said “Doesn’t that make more sense than whatever the hell our current world is?”

I don’t want to give too much away or it will ruin it for those that want to watch it. But lately many have felt the Cold Opens have been lacking, but this one was fun.
