We have a new Star War rumor since Variety has reported that they were told Temuera Morrison would be joining ‘The Mandalorian’ on Disney+ as Boba Fett. In the prequel trilogy Morrison played Jango Fett, Boba Fett’s “father.”
Fans have been waiting to see if Boba Fett would make an appearance after the shadow of a character and similar sounds from Boba Fett’s suit, appeared at the end of Episode 5, “The Gunslinger” over the “body” of Fennec Shand played by Ming-Na Wen.
Of course it’s still rumor at this point because Disney hasn’t confirmed anything. But Star Wars fans would love to see the famous Mandalorian make a return to the franchise. It even ended up trending on Twitter.
Hopefully the bounty hunter escaped the Sarlacc Pit and has returned to the Star Wars universe.
