Disney World’s holiday party at Magic Kingdom keeps selling out, with Nov. 15 and Dec. 3 the latest to go. Here are the dates still on sale and what tickets cost.
If you were planning to “wait and see” on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, the waiting part is about over.
Two more nights of Disney World’s holiday party at Magic Kingdom sold out this week: Sunday, Nov. 15, and Thursday, Dec. 3. WDW News Today reported the sellouts Tuesday night, Oct. 27, and listed just 10 dates still for sale.
The party runs 25 nights this year, from Sunday, Nov. 8, through Tuesday, Dec. 22. That puts about 15 of them out of reach, and the party hasn’t even started yet.
Which Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights are still available?
As of WDWNT’s Oct. 27 report, these were the only nights left:
-
November: Thursday, Nov. 19, and Sunday, Nov. 29
-
December: Friday, Dec. 4; Sunday, Dec. 6; Tuesday, Dec. 8; Thursday, Dec. 10; Friday, Dec. 11; Sunday, Dec. 13; Tuesday, Dec. 15; and Thursday, Dec. 17
WDWNT’s own count wobbles a bit (its story says 13 nights are gone in one spot and 14 in another), but the list of open nights is the part that matters. Check Disney World’s party calendar before you book, because dates have been dropping every few days.
Which Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates are sold out?
Every night of Thanksgiving week is gone (Nov. 24, 25 and 27), BlogMickey reported Oct. 24. So is opening night, Nov. 8.
The other sold-out nights, going by WDWNT, BlogMickey and Disney Tourist Blog, are Nov. 9, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 20, plus Dec. 1, 3, 18, 20 and 22.
Nov. 24 was the first to go, back at the end of September.
How much are Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets in 2026?
Tickets run $189 to $229 plus tax for ages 10 and up, and kids 3 to 9 pay $10 less, according to WDWNT and MickeyBlog.
Here’s the catch. The cheap nights sold first. Every $189 night is gone, and Disney Tourist Blog’s price guide puts the cheapest night left, Nov. 19, at $199. The December nights still open run $214 to $229.
For a family of four with two kids under 10, a $229 night comes to $896 before tax. That’s for five hours of party, though your ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m.
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members get $10 off select nights, per MickeyBlog. Of the nights still on sale, only Nov. 19 and Nov. 29 fall in that window.
What time does Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party start?
The party runs 7 p.m. to midnight. Guests with a party ticket can walk into Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m., which is the real value trick here.
WDWNT lists the usual headliners coming back: Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, the Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration castle stage show, and free cookies and cocoa. Disney hasn’t announced new entertainment for 2026, Disney Tourist Blog noted.
Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party selling out faster than last year?
It looks that way, at least for now. By Oct. 28, 2025, 10 dates had sold out, according to Disney Tourist Blog. This year, about 15 were gone by Oct. 27.
That’s a little funny, because the first 2026 sellout actually came later. It landed at the end of September, while 2025’s first sellout came Sept. 10. Last year’s party then sold out completely by mid-November, BlogMickey reported.
What if my Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party night sold out?
Disney doesn’t offer an official waitlist for the party that we could find, so don’t count on one.
The backup plan is Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. It runs 15 nights from Saturday, Nov. 7, through Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2027, with tickets from $169 to $199 plus tax, according to Disney Tourist Blog. Passholders and DVC members get $10 off every night.
It’s a different vibe, more glitzy old Hollywood than Santa on a float. But if the kids just want holiday lights and a late night in a park, it’ll do the job, and it’s cheaper.
