Disney and the NFL launched new Mickey and Friends team apparel, plush, bobbleheads and Super Bowl LXI gear Oct. 29 at DisneyStore.com, NFLShop.com and Fanatics.com, with more drops coming.
Mickey Mouse is suiting up for football season. New Mickey and Friends NFL team gear and Super Bowl LXI merchandise went on sale Oct. 29, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
The first wave includes Champion apparel, FOCO plush and bobbleheads, and digital pins. More drops are planned throughout the season as the road to Super Bowl LXI rolls on.
What is in the Mickey and Friends NFL collection?
The first drop comes from a handful of official NFL licensees. Here is what the Disney Parks Blog listed:
-
Champion: T-shirts and crewnecks for adults and kids, available now
-
FOCO: plush, clip-on plush, bobbleheads, figurines and clear stadium bags, all in NFL team styles
-
Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs: Super Bowl LXI digital pins
Champion team-color tees and crewnecks for all 32 NFL teams are coming “later this season,” the blog said.
Sole Retriever, which covered the launch Oct. 29, said the full collection also includes character-covered water bottles and Mickey and Minnie in team gear.
What does the Super Bowl LXI merchandise look like?
Disney’s campaign theme is “We’re Going to the Super Bowl LXI.” The key art shows Mickey in a teal and orange uniform next to the Super Bowl LXI logo.
WDW News Today shared a first look at several pieces Oct. 29 and described them as coming soon:
-
Gray sweatshirt: the back reads “We’re Going to Los Angeles.” with Mickey and Friends in teal and orange uniforms
-
Long-sleeve gray T-shirt: Mickey and Friends key art with the words “On the road to Super Bowl LXI”
-
Minnie plush: Minnie in a teal cheer uniform with a polka dot bow
-
Clear bag: teal adjustable strap, orange “Super Bowl LXI” text and Mickey and Friends art
No release date for these specific pieces was given. Clear bags make sense, by the way. NFL stadiums have clear bag policies, so Minnie can actually get through security.
Where can you buy Mickey and Friends NFL gear?
Select products are available at NFLShop.com, Fanatics.com and DisneyStore.com, according to the Disney Parks Blog. Select retailers nationwide will carry pieces too.
The blog did not mention sales inside Disneyland or Walt Disney World. If you spot these in a park shop, consider it a bonus.
Super Bowl LXI digital pins live on Disney Pinnacle, the digital pin trading app from Dapper Labs.
How much does the Mickey and Friends NFL collection cost?
Disney did not list prices in its Oct. 29 announcement. Sole Retriever and WDW News Today did not include prices either.
For a ballpark, Disney’s earlier Champion collection pairing NFL teams with Disney characters ran from $29 for youth T-shirts to $119.99 for select sweatshirts. WSB-TV reported those prices in August, citing Variety. The new pieces may land in a similar range, but that’s unconfirmed.
When do more Mickey and Friends NFL drops arrive?
More products roll out through the NFL season, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
The blog named upcoming drops from Crocs, Just Play, New Era and WinCraft, plus more gameday bags and collectibles. Disney has not shared details or dates for those yet.
“The NFL and Disney are embarking on one of the most exciting chapters in our shared history,” NFL consumer products executive Casey Collins said, according to Sole Retriever.
How does this connect to Disney’s earlier NFL apparel?
Disney has done this recently. In July, Disney, Champion, the NFL and Fanatics debuted a collection that matched each team with a Disney, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars character, according to WSB-TV.
That line expanded to all 32 teams Aug. 24.
The Pittsburgh Steelers got Pete. The Las Vegas Raiders got Darth Vader, which feels about right.
The Seattle Seahawks got the seagulls from “Finding Nemo.” Mine.
The new collection puts the focus on classic Mickey and Friends instead.
When is Super Bowl LXI?
Super Bowl LXI kicks off Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. ABC and ESPN carry the English broadcast in the U.S.
That’s why Disney is going big on the Mickey tie-ins. It is Disney’s game this year.
Pirates & Princesses previously reported that Jay-Z will headline the halftime show.
Until then, there’s plenty of football season left. And Goofy has to make the roster somewhere.
