Well it looks like the Disney+ Marvel “WandaVision” show is not coming in late 2020 as they have been indicating. Now they officially have it releasing on January 15, 2020.

Of course to make more money for Disney, they are setting up these Disney+ shows to be “essential viewing” as they are tying the movies and shows together now.
Cnet explained it very well:
“Marvel’s Disney Plus shows are designed to be essential viewing for the studio’s fans, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said last year. The characters and narratives of the MCU are being knitted together between theatrical movies and original series on Disney Plus. So Benedict Cumberbatch, for example, will be joined by Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen in the theatrical sequel Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness, which is now delayed until 2022. But to understand how Olsen’s character arrived at the events on the big screen, fans will need to watch WandaVision. ”
This will be the same for shows like “Loki”, “Hawkeye”, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and whatever else they decide to move forward on.
Here’s the WandaVision trailer:
At least now we have a posted date. Hopefully they don’t change it. Probably wanted to wait until “The Mandalorian” Season 2 was finished to keep people subscribed for another month or two for the “WandaVision” show.
