We reported previously that Marvel was returning to the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) later this month. Many are speculating about what Marvel may promote during the panel and now we might have an idea about one potential IP.
While the obvious answer is “Deadpool & Wolverine,” along with films and shows that will be released before SDCC 2025, like “Captain America: Brave New World” and “The Thunderbolts*), we now know that the “Fantastic Four” will likely be discussed as the characters are featured on SDCC banners.

Given the prominent display of the characters, it is likely we will get information at the panel or event. However, we do not know if this will be for the film or for some other project. Since Kevin Fegie has announced that filming for the new “Fantastic Four” movie is supposed to start the day after SDCC ends, it is possible that we will see some of the stars appear.
Casting has already been announced for Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal,) Susan Storm (Vanessa Kirby,) Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn,) Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach,) and Galactus (Ralph Ineson.) It is possible we could get more casting announcements at the event.
The film is going to release next year on July 25, 2025. Which likely means more promotion at SDCC 2025.
San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 25- July 28. Marvel’s presentation is scheduled for Saturday, July 27 in Hall H.
The programming schedule with panel information and descriptions will be released sometime next week. At that point, we may get some more information about what could be in the panel by the write-up.
