Mardi Gras Dates Announced for Universal Orlando 2024

Get your Mardi Gras outfits ready. Universal Orlando Resort announced the dates for the 2024 Mardi Gras celebration.

The Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval returns for 2024. This event happens from February 3 until April 7, 2024. This year’s event dates are a little shorter than last year’s. Guests will have one less week to enjoy the wonderful Mardi Gras event this year. This year’s event promises to include all the fun, music, food, and thrills that guests have come to expect with Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras celebration.

As always, all the festivities come included with guests’ theme park admission. This makes for one of the best values around for theme park entertainment.

What Can Guests Expect From the 2024 Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval?

Guests should prepare to let the good times roll with savory cuisine inspired by Carnavals worldwide, a magnificent parade, live music, and tons of beads. The parkwide celebration will transform Universal Studios Florida into Florida’s biggest party.

This party will include some mouthwatering cuisine inspired by Carnaval celebrations. This includes food from New Orleans and other areas of the world. Though we lack full details yet, we expect to see some of the classic food options from previous Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval events. These food festival items should also provide some opportunities for guests to save.

A special Mardi Gras parade will happen most nights of this celebration. Guests will line up to catch beads thrown from the floats. In addition, guests might even be able to ride on the floats, throwing beads to the cheering crowds.

Concerts

In addition to the foot-tapping music that plays at Universal Studios Florida, live concerts will be held at the Universal Music Plaza Stage on select nights. These concerts are included with park admission. However, the lowest level of Universal Orlando Resort annual passholders (season pass) will most likely be blocked out from concert nights at Universal Studios Florida. The concert lineup usually gets announced much closer to the event starting.

Mardi Gras Tribute Store

This event should involve a brand-new Tribute Store. These stores show off the skills of the Visual Merchandising Team at Universal Orlando. We expect the 2024 Tribute Store to be in the same exact location as this year.
