Pepe the King Prawn’s four-armed cosplay mini backpack is a $90 Loungefly.com exclusive. Miss Piggy gets a $75 sequin crossbody with a faux pearl handle.
Pepe the King Prawn has his own Loungefly now, okay? The Pepe cosplay mini backpack costs $90 and is a Loungefly.com exclusive, listed on the brand’s Exclusives page next to a matching $26 card holder.
Disney Food Blog spotted the four-piece Muppets drop Saturday, Nov. 7. Loungefly retailers 707 Street and Modern Pinup posted the two pieces that aren’t exclusive, both starring Miss Piggy, the morning of Friday, Nov. 6.
The Pepe bag goes full costume. He’s red and orange, with faux fur hair, debossed antennae and an embroidered face. Two of his four arms are thrown up in a shrug, and the other two are tucked into the pockets of his red jacket.
“Pepe” is spelled out on the side pockets, and a printed picture of him is on the back. He still won’t answer to “shrimp.”
None of the four pieces is holiday or Muppets Haunted Mansion themed, despite the timing. Miss Piggy gets half the collection, which is about what she’d negotiate.
How much are the new Muppets Loungefly bags?
Loungefly’s site and its retailers list the same prices:
-
Pepe the King Prawn cosplay mini backpack: $90, Loungefly.com exclusive
-
Pepe the King Prawn zip-around card holder: $26, Loungefly.com exclusive. It holds up to four cards and has a zippered coin pocket.
-
Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog mini backpack: $90. The pair share a candlelit dinner at a gingham table, the moon and stars glow in the dark, and Piggy wears a rhinestone on her hand.
-
Miss Piggy sequin crossbody bag: $75. It’s purple, with sequins, a faux pearl handle, faux fur trim and a 3D molded Miss Piggy on the front. It measures 9 by 5 by 3 inches and has a detachable strap.
Our math: all four come to $281 before tax and shipping. The two Pepe pieces alone run $116.
Where can you buy the Pepe the King Prawn Loungefly?
Only at Loungefly.com for now. Loungefly lists both Pepe pieces under its exclusives.
The two Miss Piggy bags are at Loungefly.com and at independent Loungefly sellers such as 707 Street and Modern Pinup. Modern Pinup calls the dinner-date backpack a Muppet Movie bag, a nod to Kermit and Piggy’s restaurant date in the 1979 film.
A search of DisneyStore.com on Saturday didn’t turn up any of the new bags.
There’s a cheaper way to get a pocket-size prawn, too. Both retailers also listed a Muppets mystery mini backpack keychain on Nov. 6, for $20 to $25 depending on the shop. Possible pulls include Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Fozzie Bear, Rizzo the Rat and Pepe.
Who is Pepe the King Prawn?
Pepe debuted on Muppets Tonight in 1996, and Bill Barretta has performed him from the start. His full name is Pepino Rodrigo Serrano Gonzales.
He ends sentences with “okay?” and his temper flares when anyone calls him a shrimp.
Disney+ fans know him best as Gonzo’s sidekick in Muppets Haunted Mansion, which premiered Oct. 8, 2021. Pepe tagged along for Gonzo’s night in the mansion and sang “Tie the Knot Tango.”
He also hosted “Pepe’s Unbelievable Gameshow” on Muppets Now, the 2020 Disney+ series. A prawn with his own game show and now his own backpack is doing fine.
Where can Muppets fans find them at Disney World this holiday season?
Hollywood Studios is the place. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets got a [holiday overlay with four Muppets songs](https://news.piratesandprincesses.net/p/rock-n-roller-coaster-holiday-overlay) on Nov. 4.
Jollywood Nights, the park’s separately ticketed holiday party, starts its 2026 run Saturday night, and this year’s menu has a Kermit sundae.
