LEGOLAND’s 2027 exclusive LEGO set has its own roller coaster

LEGO has revealed 50090 LEGOLAND Park Adventure, a new set sold only at LEGOLAND parks. It has 1,578 pieces, costs $109.99, and goes on sale Feb. 1, 2027.

What is the LEGOLAND Park Adventure set?

It’s a mini LEGOLAND you can build at home.

The set is a display piece inspired by the parks, with stalls and sights you’d see walking around LEGOLAND. A roller coaster track runs around the outside of the build, per Jay’s Brick Blog.

In the middle stands an upscaled minifigure, a giant version of a regular LEGO figure, wearing an “I LOVE LEGOLAND” shirt.

Where was the new LEGOLAND set revealed?

At LEGO’s fan creator summit in Billund, Denmark, LEGO’s hometown, on Sept. 21, according to Jay’s Brick Blog. Billund is also home to the very first LEGOLAND park, which opened in 1968.

What are fans saying about the LEGOLAND exclusive?

It’s a mixed bag.

Some fans on Brickset liked that it’ll be available at several parks, not just one, and called it a fair souvenir. Others felt the giant figure and the coaster don’t really fit together, and said the build looks a little bare.

HothBricks also called the coaster “more basic” than LEGO’s bigger coaster sets. Then again, this one comes with a trip to LEGOLAND attached.

Is LEGOLAND worth visiting for LEGO fans?

If you’re a LEGO fan, it’s a fun day out. Each park has rides, a Miniland full of famous places built from LEGO bricks, and big shops with park-only sets and minifigures.

LEGOLAND parks are run by Merlin Entertainments, which also runs attractions like Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE aquariums. The Park Adventure set will just be one more reason to leave room in your suitcase.
