Kingdom Hearts 4 Confirmed For Switch 2 During Nintendo Direct

I have good news for Kingdom Hearts fans! Kingdom Hearts 4 has been confirmed for Switch 2 during today’s Nintendo Direct event. However, we still don’t have a date yet.

It seems that they are all being brought over to our world for this one. My son says it reminds him of Persona.

Nintendo also announced that they will offer these three bundles on Switch 2.

The Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 with ReMind will be available for Switch 2 starting on October 8, 2026.
If you own these games on Switch, you will be able to transfer your save data to the Switch 2 version.

It was also announced that a Kingdom Hearts I-III (1-3) Game Collection will also release on October 8, 2026 for Switch 2.

It looks incredible but I need a release date before I let myself feel anything. Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced in 2013 and came out in 2019. I have trust issues.

Koin has a valid point too. We don’t have a release date yet, and it took a long time for the last main game.  Hopefully, Square Enix is much further ahead this time.
