Polly Pocket Collector Harry Potter Compact

Harry Potter Teams Up With … Polly Pocket?!

What’s that in your pocket, sir? A tiny wizard, you say? Oh, you mean that literally! Yes, it’s a Harry Potter version of Polly Pocket!

The Polly Pocket collection packed a lot into tiny compacts, and the Harry Potter version is no different.

The pocket-sized Wizarding World includes three locations: King’s Cross Station, the Dining Hall, the Great Lake, and the Hogwarts Express.

Unlike other Polly Pocket toys from the past, the movie-themed compact is stuffed with tiny accessories and five dolls. It even has a working Sorting Hat with a rotating house coat of arms!

Recreate the journey to Hogwarts with Polly Pocket in this collectible compact. Harry Potter goes tiny with five micro main character dolls, 11 accessories, and four iconic locations from the first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Fans can act out scenes like picking a house from the Sorting Hat or feasting in the dining hall with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Professor Dumbledore, and Professor McGonagall.

The Polly Pocket Collector Harry Potter Compact can be pre-ordered now. It is expected to ship on or before July 12, 2024.

In related news, the man who created Polly Pocket passed away in June, according to the New York Post. Chris Wiggs passed away in his home after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Wiggs, a London’s Central School of Art and Design graduate, came up with the idea of the tiny compact doll house in the early 1980s. Mattel officially launched the line in 1989 with massive success. In five years, the mini-worlds of Polly Pocket amassed $180M in sales for the toymaker.

Like other unique toylines of the ’80s and ’90s, Polly Pocket was revived in the late 2010s. Mighty Max, a similar pocket-sized toy, was relaunched recently, too, but for the collector’s market.
