Frozen Ever After Reopens in EPCOT With New Animatronic Heads

Good news for Frozen fans heading to EPCOT, the updated “Frozen Ever After” attraction was soft opened, and guests got to see the new animatronic heads on the characters.

These ones have traditional heads with articulation like Hong Kong Disneyland’s animatronics, instead of the projected faces they had before.

Lighting, sets, animatronic motions, and costumes were also refreshed.

Take a look at this video from LaughingPlace.

Disney opened “Frozen Ever After” back in June of 2016 at the Norway pavilion, after replacing Maelstrom, which they closed in 2014. (This is still a controversial move to many. My kids are still salty about it and liked Maelstrom more.)

Ten years later, the animatronics have better faces. The projected ones were cool, but kind of creepy too.
