When will “Freakier Friday” release on Disney+?

Disney has not announced a Disney Plus release date for the film. They want to sell as many digital copies and physical copies as possible. My guess would be later in November or maybe December, unless they wait till after the holidays to try and snag more media sales.

What is “Freakier Friday” about?

The film synopsis reads,

“22 years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis, Anna now has a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might strike twice.”

It is a good film and I gave it a good review. You can read the review here.

Did the movie make money?

It looks like it might have. The budget is estimated at $40 – $45 million, which means it needed to make $80-$110 million to break even. Globally, the film made over $152 million.
