First Look: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’ Ride Vehicles

Today we got a better look at the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” ride vehicles for the upcoming EPCOT attraction.

Imagineer Zach Riddley posted a picture to his Instagram account showing Disney Imagineers sitting in the seats of a couple ride vehicles:

He says:

If you look closely at the colorful paint designs on the vehicles (called coaches in roller coaster engineering parlance), each one is unique with different wear patterns and impact marks.

Imagineers were inspired by markings that appear on NASA Space Shuttles and other spacecraft upon reentry into Earth’s atmosphere. We can’t wait to share more on this truly out-of-this-world, awesome attraction as we make progress on construction and put these coaches on the track!

Hopefully we will get this new attraction soon. It was set for 2021 and the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, but it’s possible that it could more to even later after the COVID-19 shutdowns.

I really like that they went and put that much research into it. But I honestly would expect nothing less from them.

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
