‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Trailer Breaks Record For Most Viewed Trailer In 24 Hours

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” isn’t coming out for months, but it’s already breaking records. Within the first 24-hours of debut, the movie’s trailer had the biggest release of all time at 718.6 million views. 373 million of those views were in the first eight hours–According to Variety.

This is bigger than “Deadpool and Wolverine,” which did 365 million views in 8 hours.

I’m assuming this is a combined total across the various Sony and Sony-related channels releasing the trailer. If true this does bode very well for the next Spider-Man film, after “No Way Home” grossed $1.9 billion at the global box office.

What is the new movie about?

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will take place four years after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” with Peter Parker living alone after erasing himself from the memories of his friends, family, and foes.
