Disney World’s 55th anniversary merch is online: every item and price

Disney Store added 10 pieces from the Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary Collection on Oct. 12, from a $14.99 pennant to a $149.99 Cinderella doll limited to 5,000. The ears, backpack and plush still aren’t on the site.

Walt Disney World’s 55th anniversary merchandise finally made it out of the parks.

Disney Store put 10 pieces from the Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary Collection online on Monday, Oct. 12. Prices run from $14.99 for a felt pennant up to $149.99 for a limited-edition Cinderella doll.

Until now, almost all of it was sold only at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

What’s in the Disney World 55th anniversary collection online?

Here’s everything Disney Store listed under the 55th anniversary as of early Oct. 13, all marked new and in stock:

  • Cinderella Limited Edition Doll, 16 inches: $149.99

  • Dedication Plaque Replica: $129

  • Mickey Mouse Pullover Hoodie: $69.99

  • Mickey Mouse Throw: $69.99

  • MagicBand+: $44.99

  • Mickey Mouse Checklist T-Shirt: $39.99

  • Mickey and Minnie 33 oz. Travel Cup with Straw: $27.99

  • Mug: $16.99

  • Logo Pennant: $14.99

  • Keychain Bag Charm: $14.99

There’s also a Disney gift card with 55th anniversary art, in amounts from $25 to $500. That’s spending money, so we’re not counting it as merch.

How much is the whole 55th anniversary collection?

One of everything comes to $578.91, by our math, before tax and shipping.

The doll and the plaque make up almost half of that. Skip those two and the rest of the online collection costs $299.92.

What does the Cinderella 55th anniversary doll look like?

Her gown is inspired by Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, the merry-go-round just behind Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland. Disney says it has golden embroidery, faceted gems and golden and lavender “C” monograms with carousel horses along the hem.

The doll is about 16 inches tall and comes with a display stand and a certificate. It’s a limited edition of 5,000.

One warning from the product page: there are no refunds, exchanges or returns on this one.

Which 55th anniversary items are only in the parks?

A bunch of the in-park collection didn’t make the online cut, at least not yet. These weren’t on Disney Store’s site as of Oct. 13:

  • Blue 55th anniversary ears: $36.99

  • Backpack: $59.99

  • Baseball cap: $32.99

  • Mickey Mouse plush: $39.99

  • White zip-up hoodie: $69.99 for adults, plus a light blue kids’ zip-up for $49.99

Those are the in-park prices Laughing Place and WDWInfo reported in September and on Oct. 1. You’ll find them at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., and Creations Shop in EPCOT, while supplies last, Disney said.

The ears are the one most fans will notice missing.

What’s on the 55th anniversary checklist T-shirt?

The pale blue tee is the sneaky fun one. The front has Mickey marching past Cinderella Castle. The back is a checklist of attractions from Magic Kingdom’s opening year, sorted by land.

A few of them don’t go by those names anymore:

  • Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel became Prince Charming Regal Carrousel on June 1, 2010, according to D23.

  • Country Bear Jamboree came back as Country Bear Musical Jamboree on July 17, 2024, Disney said.

  • Grand Prix Raceway is now Tomorrowland Speedway.

  • Main Street Cinema is a shop now, WDW News Today reported in 2024.

So the shirt doubles as a little history quiz. Jungle Cruise and Mad Tea Party are still on the checklist and still running.

What does the Walt Disney World dedication plaque say?

The $129 replica copies the real plaque at the base of the flagpole on Main Street, U.S.A. It’s antiqued metal, about 10 inches tall, with holes in the back for hanging.

Roy O. Disney dedicated the real one on Oct. 25, 1971, a few weeks after the park opened. Walt had died in 1966, and Roy saw the project through.

The plaque hopes Walt Disney World will “bring joy and inspiration and new knowledge to all who come to this happy place.”

Is Disney World doing a 55th anniversary celebration?

Not a big one. Walt Disney World turned 55 on Thursday, Oct. 1, with a ceremony at Cinderella Castle, but there’s no 18-month party like the 50th.

That one ran from October 2021 into March 2023, with new shows, castle decorations and golden character statues in all four parks.

For the 55th, the merchandise is pretty much the celebration. Disney also had two Cast Members who’ve worked there since opening day model the collection in a Disney Parks Blog post on Sept. 28.

What are some fun facts about the 55th anniversary merch?

The mug has a hotel on it. One side shows Florida, a sailboat, Cinderella Castle and Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which opened with Magic Kingdom in 1971.

The keychain covers all four parks. Its five charms are a “55” logo plus the Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth, Cinderella Castle and the Tower of Terror.

The hoodie has a motto on it. Under the four park emblems, it reads “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

The travel cup holds 33 ounces, and it fits in a car cup holder, according to Disney. It’s hand-wash only.

A 55th birthday is an odd one to throw a party for. Disney’s version is mostly a gift shop, and now that gift shop has a shipping option.
