Google Play Fest knocks 10% off $100 Disney gift cards, and Disney Store has its own 25% off weekend sale. Here’s how both deals work and what to watch out for.

Planning a Disney trip? Here’s an easy way to knock a little off before you go.

Google Play is selling $100 Disney gift cards for 10% off through Monday, Oct. 19, as part of its first Google Play Fest, Disney Tourist Blog reported on Thursday, Oct. 15.

That’s $90 for $100 in Disney spending money.

It’s one of the better Disney gift card deals this year, according to DTB. Most sales in 2026 have been 6% to 8% off with lower limits, DTB said, and a couple of earlier 10% sales had much tighter caps.

Disney gift cards work for almost anything Disney, including park tickets, hotel stays, restaurants, merchandise and Lightning Lanes, DTB noted. They’re good at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Store and some third-party shops and restaurants at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney.

How do you get the Disney gift card deal on Google Play?

Through the Google Play app. Go to your profile, then gift cards, then deals, DTB reported. Disney should show up as one of the top offers.

There’s a web version, too, on Google Play’s gift card page.

DTB’s Tom Bricker said his purchase took about 10 seconds. Yours may not go as smoothly. More on that below.

Is there a limit on the Google Play Disney gift card deal?

Probably two cards. DTB said shoppers should be able to buy two gift cards of any brand, though that limit isn’t in the official terms.

That’s typical. Disney gift card deals almost always come with purchase limits, usually capped at $800 at the very most, according to DTB.

Some shoppers have reported that the limit resets each day during Play Fest, DTB said. That could mean $200 in gift cards a day, but don’t count on it.

Is the Google Play deal glitchy?

For some people, yes. DTB reported errors including 504 gateway timeouts, which seemed to be the most common, along with “no internet connection” messages and duplicate or missing order confirmations.

The deal did seem to be working better than it was at launch, DTB said.

What else is on sale during Google Play Fest?

Plenty, though most of it isn’t Disney. Google is boosting how fast members earn Play Points through Oct. 19, with a 15x points multiplier on books from Oct. 16 to 18, according to DTB.

Other gift cards are on sale, too, including Starbucks, which works out to about 13.33% off, DTB said.

What is the Disney Store sale this weekend?

25% off orders of $125 or more with code SAVEMORE through Sunday, Oct. 18, plus free shipping, MickeyBlog reported.

The code works on new and sale items, including Loungefly, Starbucks, Marvel and Pixar merchandise and 55th anniversary items, according to MickeyBlog.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have another option. DisneyStore.com is giving passholders 20% off with code WDW20 through Oct. 25, as we reported.

Is Disneyland’s Halloween merch on sale?

Some of it. Select Halloween merchandise at Disneyland Resort is 30% to 40% off, WDW News Today reported on Oct. 14:

  • Light-up Mickey and Minnie jack-o’-lanterns: $23.99, down from $39.99

  • Pastel Minnie ghost blow mold: $41.99, down from $69.99

  • Pumpkin boxed jewelry sets: $29.99, down from $49.99

  • The rest of the Pastel Cutie Ghost Collection: 30% off

Look for the deals at Disney Showcase, the Emporium and other shops around the resort.

How do you combine Disney gift cards?

Online. Disney’s gift card tool lets you merge cards and check balances under “My Cards,” DTB noted. That saves you from handing a cashier five cards with $3 left on each.

You can also save gift cards in the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps now. That change came in June, and it makes gift cards easy to use for Mobile Order, DTB said. Look for “MyDisney Wallet” in the app’s account menu.

Will there be better Disney gift card deals soon?

Maybe. DTB pointed to last November’s Target sale as the best Disney gift card deal it had seen in ages, and said it could come back in November 2026. Black Friday is about a month away.

For now, the Google deal ends Monday. The churros are still full price.
