Disney is bringing back the “it’s a small world” singing Animator dolls! These dolls were originally released in 2014 for the anniversary of the 1964 World’s Fair.
Originally, there were seven dolls, including a Japanese doll, an African doll, an Indian doll, a Holland doll, a Hawaiian doll, a British Doll, and a French Doll.
Now Disney has brought back three of those dolls and a new one to the Disney Store and likely the parks.
“Celebrate a world of laughter and hope with a new collection of dolls inspired by Walt Disney’s classic Fantasyland attraction and one of the best-known Disney tunes of all time, ”it’s a small world,” composed by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman (Mary Poppins).
Drawing from designs and illustrations by the legendary Disney Animation artist and Imagineer Mary Blair, each doll is dressed in traditional folk costume and sings in their native language. Songs were recorded by children from around the world for authenticity. Collect them all to love and to share!“
