Daredevil: Born Again Trailer Has Dropped

Finally, we have the new “Daredevil: Born Again” Trailer. The show is coming to Disney+ on March 4, and less than two months away, we got the trailer everyone had been waiting for.

Warning: it’s a very violent trailer, but if you are familiar with the Netflix show this version is based on, you should not be surprised. This isn’t the Daredevil from “She-Hulk.”

Marvel’s “Daredevil: Born Again” trailer:

We are in the future from the Netflix show Daredevil. Matt Murdock (Daredevil) is no longer a vigilante, and Wilson Fisk is now the mayor. However, it seems neither of them has changed much, and Daredevil clearly comes back into service.

Here is the official synopsis:

“Matt Murdock finds himself on a collision course with Wilson Fisk when their past identities begin to emerge.”

Disney+ posted the video and poster on X today:

According to Charlie Cox this show may even be more violent than the original show on Netflix,

Cox told EW,

“The thing that we kept talking about was, this show has had the success that it’s had and has appealed to a very specific demographic because it’s one of the few superhero shows that is so dark and sinister at times. Vincent and I both felt like if you lose that, you are at risk of losing the identity of our show. So we really pushed for the show to remain geared towards an older audience and not dumbed down to kind of capture a wider net of people. I think in some ways it’s even darker than a lot of the stuff we’ve done in the past.”

I’m just glad Disney and Marvel listened to the fans and scrapped what they were doing and moved to make the show continue the Netflix one, bringing back some of the people from the Netflix era of Marvel television including Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/ The Punisher,) Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson,) Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page,) Wilson Bethel (Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter/ Bullseye,) and of course Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil,) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk/ Kingpin.)

“Daredevil: Born Again” will have 18 episodes! I can’t wait.
