Costco’s ornament-shaped Disney cookie jar comes in red or white and holds 16 ounces of Mickey and Minnie sugar cookies for $19.49. It’s warehouse-only, item No. 2078520.
Costco’s latest Disney holiday find comes with snacks. The Disney Cookie Jar with Sugar Cookies, a ceramic jar shaped like an oversized Christmas ornament, is in Costco warehouses for $19.49, filled with 16 ounces of Mickey- and Minnie-shaped sugar cookies.
Allrecipes called it a viral holiday find on Friday, Nov. 6, pointing to Costco fan posts on Facebook. One member bought four, two of each color. “I bought both the red and white for cuteness,” another shopper wrote.
Costco tracker Costco97 first flagged the jar as a new item on Oct. 29, listing it as item No. 2078520.
The math on that four-jar haul: $77.96 for four jars and 64 ounces of cookies. That’s about $1.22 per ounce of cookies, and the jars are basically a bonus.
Here’s a quick look at the jars from the Costco Hot Finds YouTube channel:
How much is the Costco Disney cookie jar?
$19.49. Allrecipes, Costco97 and price tracker Warehouse Hawk all list that price. Warehouse Hawk showed it holding steady since at least Nov. 4. Costco prices can vary by warehouse, so check the tag.
Warehouse Hawk lists it in Costco’s candy category, under the item name “Disney Cookie Jar with Sugar Cookies 16 Ounces.”
What does the Costco Disney cookie jar look like?
It’s shaped like a big Christmas ornament, with a sculpted lid handle tied with a Disney ribbon, Costco97 reported. The red version has a white Santa sleigh design and snow-dusted rooftops.
It also comes in white. Allrecipes described the art as snowy rooftops, winter scenes and Santa’s sleigh. Warehouse Hawk noted color selection varies by warehouse, so you might only find one.
Inside are 16 ounces (454 grams) of sugar cookies shaped like Mickey and Minnie. Once they’re gone, the jar works as holiday decor.
Not everyone’s in it for the cookies. “We’re not cookie fans, but these are adorable,” one shopper wrote, Allrecipes reported.
One wrinkle: SheFinds described the cookies as individually wrapped Mickey and Minnie shortbread. Costco97 and Allrecipes both say sugar cookies, so read the label if that matters to you.
Is the Costco Disney cookie jar online?
No. Warehouse Hawk lists it as not sold on Costco.com, so this is an in-person hunt.
Which Costco warehouses have the Disney cookie jar?
More than at first. Costco97 said Oct. 29 that it had only confirmed sightings at West Coast locations. A commenter there said an Atlanta Costco told them it was “only available in the LA region,” but that was secondhand.
It has spread since. When we checked Friday, Warehouse Hawk showed 96 of the 126 warehouses it tracks reporting stock. Its Cumming, Georgia, listing showed out of stock.
Allrecipes’ roundup included a shopper “looking for one in PA.” If you’re hunting, call your warehouse and give them the item number.
What other Disney holiday items are at Costco?
The big one is Costco’s Disney Holiday Village, a 13-piece gingerbread scene with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto. We reported Oct. 14 that it runs about $129.99 in warehouses and $139.99 on Costco.com, item No. 1784954.
It has two gingerbread houses, one that lights up and one that plays music, plus a light-up tree, two candy-cane lamp posts and eight figures. Mickey bakes with Pluto, and Donald drives a little red car.
It’s a new design this year, replacing the ice-rink village Costco sold in 2024 and 2025. The warehouse price has held at $129.99 since at least 2023, we reported. It runs on included batteries and has a timer.
Set the cookie jar next to the village and your kitchen counter looks like a Main Street, U.S.A., shop window. The cookies may not survive the season.
