Recently, we published reasons we love the B Resort in Disney Springs. Yet, if you read that article, you were warned that B Resort possesses flaws also. As you might expect, this article tells you some of thing we dislike. The B Resort functions as an upscale hotel located in Disney Springs area. This hotel chain offers other up-scale hotel accommodations in the USA. This hotel makes a solid choice for many guests, but it has flaws. Below, you will find the thing we dislike about this resort.
-
Resort Fees
I despise resort fees. I have been known to avoid paying for any accommodations that charges these fees. Resort fees are non-optional fees that hotels charge guests to disguise the overall price. B Resort does this online by lumping the resort fees within the taxes/fees at checkout. Recently, I examined booking a week stay in February 2022. When I clicked the taxes/fees link, I discovered the resort fee for a week stay was $252. That turned my week stay into costing about $2000 for a week. I can book Coronado Springs on-site for less. Watch out for fees!

Parking Fees
The fees do not end with resort fees. Parking your car will cost you a sizeable amount. At B Resort, standard parking costs $23/day. Valet parking costs $29/day. Yikes! If you decide to drive your car to theme parks, then you will pay more parking fees. Parking fees gobble up vacation budgets.

Snack Bar in Your Room
In old school resort hotel fashion, your room provides a snack bar. As you might imagine, these snacks offer and expensive temptation. As one guest said, those snacks make theme park prices look economical. You should examine your credit card carefully after staying here based on this. Also, the snack section in your room will tempt children and teenagers more than you bank account will appreciate.

Shuttle Service
Now, this reason appeared in our best article also. This rose comes with some thorns. According to their website, the shuttle does not run all day. If you are someone who goes back to hotel for afternoon nap or pool time, then this resort shuttle may be useless to you. Depending on operating procedure, you could ride on a shuttle bus not solely dedicated to only B Resort guests. Also, there exists an awkward booking procedure for this service. This method of booking resembles another way for you credit card to get “accidently” charged for a “free” service. Some guests report being so frustrated with shuttle options that they decided to take their own car to the parks. This leads to an additional parking fee. Once again, watch out for potential fees.

Dining Options
In fairness, this weakness could change soon. Based on casual examination of the hotel website, several dining options remain closed. This may not be a significant issue for you. However, guests that enjoy dining at their hotel should bear this in mind.
Now you have some reasons to consider before booking this hotel. These reasons may not prohibit you from booking here. Whatever you do, enjoy your vacation!
