You Need To Join A Virtual Queue For The Train and Conservation Station Because Bluey– Not Something I Ever Thought I Would Say.

File this under something I never thought I would ever say about the Conservation Station, the Wildlife Express Train, or the Petting Zoo area– Disney wants you to join a virtual queue when the area reopens as a Bluey-themed attraction.

According to Disney, when the new “Bluey’s Wild World” area reopens on May 26, guests will need to join a Virtual Queue to do anything related to the Conservation Station area, because no standby line will be available until later.

All areas require it, including

  • The Wildlife Express Train to get there
  • Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station
Bluey and Bingo Fun and Games will offer family-friendly activities including Keepy Uppy and the Magic Asparagus, along with a bubble shower.
  • Animal Care experiences
Animal Care at Conservation Station -learn about animal care at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

At the Veterinary Treatment Room, see where animals receive medical care and maybe even glimpse a procedure in process.
Animal Nutrition Window see how the expert animal nutrition team prepares meals for the park’s animal friends.
Amphibian, Reptile and Invertebrate Windows here you can see frogs, lizards, and some of the smallest species at the park.
Science Center, learn about what Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment scientists are currently working on!

  • The Jumping Junction
See Animals from Australia at Jumping Junction, including kangaroos and wallabies.

Yes, even the reimagined petting zoo area will need a Virtual Queue.  (My husband called the Affection Section the “world’s saddest petting zoo.”)

How to get into the queue

Starting at 7 AM and 10 AM, guests can attempt to get a spot in the Virtual Queue.  All you need is a valid admission for the day, but at 7 AM you don’t have to be at the Animal Kingdom yet to join the queue.  If you try at 10 AM, you will need to be in the park to join the queue.

Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 10 a.m.

It is wild to me that the Conservation Station needs a Virtual Queue pass to get in now.  That is insane.

Why do we need a Virtual Queue now?

Because Disney rethemed it all to Bluey, and they expect it to be incredibly busy.  However, this might be good news for other guests who want to get on Flight of Passage or Expedition Everest.

Be prepared if you plan to visit this area of the park. I think it will be busier than it’s been since it opened. A lot of guests didn’t even know that it was there.
