Why Do All the ‘Tron: Ares’ Photos Look Like A Paris Fashion Shoot?

Disney is gearing up to release “Tron: Ares” next month. Promotion for the new Tron movie without Tron has been ramped up, but why does it all feel like it’s more about a fashion shoot than the actual film?

The current box office projection for the film is $44 million domestic for the opening weekend.

“Tron: Ares” does have the advantage due to the lack of “tent pole” films and big draw movies at the box office. “Tron: Legacy” also did $44 million domestically at opening but that was 15 years ago. $44 million, then, is equivalent to about $65.3 million now.

It’s a film about technology and the online world colliding with the real world, but the fashion is what their focus seems to be on.

What is up with this?

Is this a “Tron” movie or a Jaguar commercial?

Literally, what the heck, Disney?

I don’t think constant fashion shoots is going to make people want to see the film.

They want a “Tron” movie and not a Jared Leto fashion show.

I hope the film is way better than the promotion.

“Tron: Ares” will release in theaters on October 10, 2025.
