If you are like me, you are probably trying to find the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) dates for 2025, but they haven’t been released yet. So when will they be released?
Over the last few years, Disney has been getting later and later with their MNSSHP announcements. In previous years, we knew the dates in March, and they did a “Halfway to Halloween” event. Then it was pushed back until April for information.
Last year, 2024, the dates were released in early May, so it’s likely 2025 will be the same way. But we don’t know, it could honestly be any day now.
Disney keeps pushing the dates announcement back, while also moving the start of the event up.
One issue I have with Disney is this.
When they move the announcement dates back and the start of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party up, it limits the time people have to get the money for the event.
Last year, the event started on August 9, only giving people about three months to plan.

Each year has price hikes.
Last year saw a $10 increase in the lowest ticket price. In 2024, the cheapest tickets were raised to $119 for adults and $109 for children. The highest price of $199 per adult and $189 per child stayed the same in 2024, however, many of the dates throughout the event saw ticket price increases of $10 and the lower prices were far more limited. More days at higher prices.
Is the event worth the cost?
This is a question with a subjective answer. In my opinion, it is worth the cost, so far. If pricing continues to increase it might not be.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party does offer special shows, fireworks, the amazing Boo-to-You parade, trick-or-treating, and special character meet and greets. You can also ride attractions with a “reduced” wait time.

In the past, guests could enter the Magic Kingdom at 4 PM and ride until Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party started at 7 PM. Since the event runs to midnight, it’s a good chance to ride a lot of the more popular attractions.
It is worth the cost of admission, for now. But we don’t yet know how much Disney will charge for 2025. Hopefull,y they don’t jack up the prices to offset losses with lower crowds as people aren’t going to Walt Disney World as much. Many aren’t coming because the prices are too high, raising them even more would be a bad idea.
Look for an announcement anytime now, but it could be May till we hear anything.
