The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer has dropped, and it promises more oldschool Star Wars fun for all. And, of course, lots of “Baby Yoda.”

The second season of The Mandalorian seems to be focused on delivering Baby Yoda… er… THE CHILD… to the Jedi. Which could be a problem, as the Jedi are all but extinct at this point in the Star Wars timeline (the show is set a few years after Return of the Jedi.)
HOWEVER, a mysterious woman that appears in the trailer (Sasha Banks?) could be a Jedi. Perhaps an early student of Luke Skywalker’s.
There have been rumors of Rosario Dawson being cast as a live-action version Ahsoko Tano, but this would contradict Yoda’s parting words to Luke Skywalker, that he was the last of the Jedi.
But hey, this is Disney run Lucasfilm we’re talking about. They have no problem contradicting canon, or throwing it out altogether.
Anyway, it looks like Disney is beating the nostalgia drum pretty hard in this trailer. We’ve got sandpeople on banthas, speeder bikes and Gamorrean fighters. Check out the screen shots below.
