If you are stuck at home, missing Disney or mourning your cancelled trip I have a pick-me up for you. Did you know you can tour everything with Google Earth? We are talking some street views, but you can fly above and see all the secret areas that are hidden behind the parks. If you have a compatible VR headset it’s even cooler. I was standing on top of the Hollywood Hotel yesterday!
But you can also tour with your computer!
First, go to Google Earth and launch the service. Then in the search area (the magnifying glass) you can type in the name of which park you would like to see.
Using your keyboard arrows you can virtually visit the park. You can fly above it like Peter Pan and you don’t need pixie dust to do it, although I admit it will generate some because it’s a lot of fun and very interesting. Now they are a couple of years old so it’s interesting to see the construction on Galaxy’s Edge or EPCOT with the spine in tact.
Here are a few examples:
Walt Disney World

Disneyland Paris

Tokyo Disneyland

You can do the same for other Disney parks or locations as well.
Give it a try!
