After the “malfunction” caused by cars that crashed into each other and created “unexpected downtime” they finally have the Skyliner open again, 9 days later. BUT it has modified hours. Thanks to WDWNT for posting. They also were the ones to break the accident story as it happened.
Starting today guests can ride the Skyliner from 8 AM till 10:30 PM.
There will be system updates and work during this week that will create a modified operating schedule on Oct. 16-18.
Wednesday, Oct. 16, “The Disney Hollywood Studios line will be closed while the other two lines will be available from 1 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.”
Thursday, Oct. 17, and Friday, Oct. 18, “All lines will be open from 1 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.”
Good news it’s back up, but it sounds like it still needs some more checking, but if you want to ride I think you will okay to do so. They wouldn’t let people on it if they thought it was dangerous. NOT after what happened before and the media storm that followed. If it were me I would ride it. But I also understand if people want to wait until after all the checks and works is completed.
