Sorry, Mickey. For the fifth straight year in a row, Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure has been named the Top Amusement Park in the World by TripAdvisor users.
This shouldn’t surprise anyone, as Universal has really stepped up its game since the introduction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The addition of the Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster has only sweetened the park, as its drawn rave reviews and long lines.

The fans have spoken: Universal’s Islands of Adventure has been named the number one amusement park in the world by TripAdvisor travelers for the fifth year in a row! But wait, there’s more… Universal Studios Florida was voted #3 on the worldwide list and the national list.
It’s truly an epic time to visit our destination, especially Islands of Adventure. But none of this would have been possible without you – our fans – so we’d like to share our sincerest thanks with everyone who’s visited and been a part of our story.
Disneyland didn’t even make the Top 10.
Surprisingly, Disneyland didn’t even make the Top 10 this year. That’s despite the much ballyhooed opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which has honestly been met with mixed reviews from the media.
Epcot didn’t place at all!
Even more surprisingly, only three of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks placed in the Top 25. Epcot wasn’t even mentioned. Here’s the complete list.
