A new video from Adventuring With Annie on X shows what appears to be dragon testing in the sky, likely for the upcoming Epic Universe theme park. Holy crap!
In the video, a “dragon” is flying around and it’s amazing!

Epic Universe is going to feature the Isle of Berk from the “How To Train Your Dragon” films and shows.
They have previously teased flying dragons in promotional concept art, and now it seems they’ve done it!

The rumor is that it is indeed toothless, which makes sense given the concept art.
Close up shot of Toothless!
At Epic Universe in How To Train Your Dragon’s land he will be flying around.

Disney teased many effects, like lightsaber blasts across the sky and droids roaming around with Galaxy’s Edge. Except for the one-and-done X-wing flyover at the Rise of the Resistance attraction media event, none of it happened. Only the media and guests got to see it happen.
Universal teased flying dragons, and it seems they are trying to actually do it.
My daughter is super excited about both the Isle of Berk and the dragon. She came running when I told her about the video.
This video capture comes just days ahead of the D23 Expo. Disney better not only bring big announcements. They need to follow through with them, or they are going to feel the pinch when Epic Universe opens.
