Universal Orlando to Require Vaccine or Weekly Tests for Team Members

Starting soon, Universal Orlando will require team members to be vaccinated or face weekly COVID tests. This is said to be due to the new mandate via the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA issued an emergency temporary order on vaccines and testing.

Universal Orlando released a five page letter to team members laying out their expectations. This includes the fact that team members will need to have the vaccine or proof of COVID testing. This includes third party team members as well.

Starting February 9th, team members who refuse to get the vaccine and do the weekly testing must wear a mask.  Team members will be need to be symptom free to work, and if they exhibit symptoms they will be asked to go home and submit a negative test to return to work.

This is in contrast to Walt Disney World who paused their vaccine policies after Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, banned work places requiring shots.
