It seems that even Donkey is questioning the recent “Shrek 5” teaser that was released last week. The character was recorded during a meet-and-greet at the Universal Orlando Resort, where he discussed his opinions on the polarizing trailer and even admitted that he looked “homeless” in the video.
The video came from @epicfamilyquests on TikTok.

Here is what Donkey said,
Talking to the Fiona character actress in the park Donkey started by saying “Even though your husband refused to come out…..he was embarrassed he doesn’t want to get questions about the new trailer.”
Then he asks, “Fiona” “How old are your children again?”
To which Fiona responds, “Honestly, I don’t remember anymore.”
Then Donkey says, “I’m going to be honest with you. Felicia looked 15.”
After Fiona indicates that her snail masks must be working, the family in the video comes up for photos.
When they arrive, Donkey asks, “Did you guys watch the new Shrek trailer?“
They indicate that they have not watched it yet, and Donkey continues, “I’m just saying. I look rough. Donkey looks homeless.”
Then he adds “That’s why you always get final approval of all your film and movie rights.”

Audiences are not sold on the new look for Shrek and company. Some are even asking Dreamworks/Universal to do as Paramount did with “Sonic the Hedgehog” and redo the character designs.
It is so bad that even Donkey himself is asking questions at Universal Orlando.
