Universal Horror Unleashed: Year-Round Haunted Houses Coming to Las Vegas’ AREA15 in 2025

Universal is once again proving that no one does Halloween quite like they do.

Horror fans, prepare yourselves—Las Vegas is about to be haunted year-round. Universal Destinations & Experiences has announced that Universal Horror Unleashed, their first permanent horror attraction, will open in Las Vegas in 2025.

Set to chill and thrill visitors with haunted houses inspired by the terrifying creative legacy of Universal Pictures, the attraction is bringing a slice of Halloween Horror Nights to Sin City itself.

Located within the immersive AREA15 district, officially confirmed as the location, Universal Horror Unleashed will feature four haunted houses, each with its own terrifying story: Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow: The Reaping, and Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer.

These haunted houses aren’t for the faint of heart—they are intense and feature elevated moments where horror surrounds guests in unimaginable ways.

Expect to see classics like Frankenstein, Dracula, and many other iconic monsters reimagined to terrify even the most seasoned horror enthusiasts. According to Universal’s official statement, these haunted experiences will rotate and change over time, ensuring a fresh (and terrifying) experience for both first-time and repeat visitors.

Surrounding the haunted houses will be four sinisterly themed immersive areas, featuring unique live entertainment experiences, eerie eateries, and bars with horror-centric food and drink offerings. Guests can also expect continuously updated experiences with must-see seasonal events and one-of-a-kind merchandise.

If you’ve been longing for a horror-themed vacation destination that’s a little less seasonal and a bit more perennial, this attraction could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

Universal Horror Unleashed is set to deliver Universal’s signature world-class storytelling and scare factor to a broader audience.

It promises to attract visitors not only with its haunted houses but also with AREA15’s eclectic attractions. Plus, since it’s in Vegas, you can make a whole trip out of it—shifting seamlessly between slot machines and spine-chilling scares.

According to the official release from Universal Destinations & Experiences, the attraction will build on the success of Halloween Horror Nights while remaining open year-round.

Fans of Horror Nights can expect a mix of old favorites and new additions, set against a cutting-edge horror backdrop that uses state-of-the-art effects and immersive environments to bring fear to life.
