Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass DLC Roadmap

Ubisoft Outlines ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ Post-Launch Roadmap

Yes, despite all the negative press and lackluster gameplay footage, Star Wars Outlaws is still set to launch later this month. Ubisoft doesn’t appear to plan to abandon the game outright, as the company today announced the post-release DLC roadmap.

We all knew about Jabba’s Gambit thanks to Ubisoft’s weird pricing model that locked day-one content behind a hefty paywall. However, it looks like the season pass will deliver two story packs starting in the Fall and Spring of 2025.

The Wild Card DLC will give players the following:

Kay is hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, but as she crosses paths with the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, she soon learns that another game is being played.

Ooooh! Did you see the jingly keys?

Don’t worry, newer Star Wars fans, Ubisoft has some lovely shiny objects for you, too, with A Pirate’s Fortune:

The Trailblazer’s reputation precedes Kay as she runs into veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to settle old scores with a ruthless gang of pirates.

Between the story packs will be two cosmetic bundles: Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin. The former appears to include some Mandalorian iconography.

Knowing Ubisoft, we won’t see a second season pass because a sequel will probably be announced next Summer. That company knows how to churn out games once a semi-decent game engine is built.

Star Wars Outlaws will arrive on August 30. If you’re willing to pay over $69.99 for the game, you can play it three days early. By three days, I mean you can play it on a Tuesday, the standard video game release day.

If you subscribe to Ubisoft+, you’ll have access to the game for “free.” That’s really the goal, you know. To get you used to not owning your games.
