Britain’s largest vacation planning company Tui, has just cancelled all their Florida bookings through November 30, 2020 over concerns about travel restrictions and guests not getting what they paid for.
Tui said the following in a statement:
“Due to the on-going uncertainty around international travel restrictions and the unprecedented impact of Covid-19, all holidays to Florida due to depart up to and including 30 November 2020 will be cancelled.
The decision has been made following new health and safety measures implemented at Walt Disney World to ensure the safety of its guests.
These changes would significantly impact the holiday experience for many TUI customers who plan their magical and often once-in-a-lifetime Florida holiday.”
If a customer has been impacted by this decision they can get a full refund, but keep in mind it may take longer than the 2-weeks it should take. Customers may also change their booking dates to 2021 or to any other vacation currently on sale until October 2021.
Tui Airways flights from the UK and Ireland to Florida have been cancelled and they will resume in March 2021.
Heads up for any of our followers in those areas that use that company.
We also agree with waiting and it’s we keep saying that we would recommend waiting to travel to Walt Disney World until late this year or early next year.
