A synopsis reads,
“Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”
The comments are mixed.
“lightcycles now run on pure revenge” -nox
“Excited to see how much different it’s gonna be since it’s in the real world, definitely feels super eerie and I like that.” – BigDog.
“I am genuinely relieved how good this looks. While the films have been building to something like this (particularly Legacy) it would have been so easy to botch how the two worlds collide. Looking forward to seeing how everything Flynn set in motion comes to a head.”-Joe Of The Sith
“Like, I’m really hoping this movie will be good, but that trailer’s sadly not anywhere near as interesting and visual as the first proper TRON: Legacy trailer” -Stian Schultz
“Y’all messed up casting Jared Leto as the lead”– Jay
“I got chill! Trailer looks promising.” – Vina Verde
“Excellent, I hope this one lives up to the level of the first one, which was spectacular.” – Diego Balermo
“FINALLY!
+1 for Scully!”– Michael Schumaker (Gillian Anderson is in the film.)
“This movie better make up after that sh*tty snow white.” – Nova Jensen
“Looked great, then Jared Leto showed up which was bad, but ended with NIN, which is good.” – Marc Hofstatter
“I wonder what percentage of the movie will take place in the real world vs computer world. Part of the appeal of Tron is the setting and Tron legacy was gorgeous“- Chadwick
Yes. But “Tron Legacy” should have connected to “Tron” much more than it did. Tron should have been a much bigger character in the second film. I get where he is coming from.
“All I have to say is that girl BETTER be Sam and Quara’s daughter or it’s just a huge missed opportunity. It better tie directly to Tron Legacy!”–
