Top Three Things: Spinach and Garlic Ravioli at Mythos Restaurant – $24.00
Recently, we dined at Mythos Restaurant at Universal Islands of Adventure with some friends in town. Mythos offers great value in quality theme park table service dining. The dining option makes a flavor-filled vegetarian (not vegan) dining option.
The menu description for this entrée indicates that guests will receive an entrée with sauteed ravioli, roasted acorn squash and shitake mushrooms, rainbow swiss chard, and shaved grana Padano. We found this dish enjoyable. Also, the combination of flavors within this dish presents guests with a unique, non-traditional menu item. We love food in theme parks outside the norm!
Volcano Nachos at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Universal CityWalk Orlando – $22.95
Monday, November 6, 2023 is National Nachos Day. The best value regarding nachos resides at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Universal CityWalk Orlando. The Volcano Nachos will feed several people happily. These nachos consist of a massive stack of tortilla chips layered with chili, cheese, pico de gallo, fresh guacamole, sour cream, and jalapeños. We have enjoyed these nachos many times before.
Fluffy Unicorn Cupcake from Illumination’s Minion Café – $5.99
This Friday has been declared National Vanilla Cupcake Day. In fairness, I do not know who said that day. However, as a food writer, I never overlook a food holiday.
Also, I frequent Illumination’s Minion Café at Universal Studios Florida theme park. One of the adorable desserts served here is the Fluffy Unicorn Cupcake. Though this is technically not a vanilla cupcake, we still recommend it. This cupcake consists of a confetti cupcake, vanilla & bubble gum icing, topped with a chocolate unicorn horn. This makes a cute treat that kids of all ages will enjoy.
