Tokyo DisneySea Reveals Name and Concept Art for Expansion

Last year The Oriental Land Company, who owns and operates the Tokyo Disney Resort, announced an expansion to their park.  This new development is expected to cost around 250 billion yet and will be the largest expansion yet at the two Tokyo Disney parks.

Now they have announced a name and have shown some concept art of the new expansion project.

It will be called Fantasy Springs

Inspired by frozen, Tangled and Peter Pan this new area will feature four new attractions, three restaurants and a store. It will be located in the current parking lot area behind the Arabian Coast and Lost River Delta “ports.”

They also posted some amazing concept art for the project:

I kind of feel like it’s a cross between Fantasyland and Pandora: The World of Avatar.

The new Fantasy Springs is scheduled to open sometime between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023. I’m sure there will be a more concrete date as we get closer to 2022.
